The East European Folklife Center (EEFC) announces the establishment of a new scholarship for the EEFC Balkan Music and Dance Workshops.

The Dick Crum Scholarship is intended as a tribute to a pioneer who was instrumental in teaching Balkan music and dance in the United States. The scholarship committee encourages applicants with a strong interest in further developing their skills as a teacher, researcher, choreographer, and/or ethnographer in Balkan music and dance. Details regarding the application process will be posted on the EEFC website in a few weeks.

If you wish to contribute specifcally to the Dick Crum Scholarship Fund, please make your checks out to the EEFC and state "Dick Crum Scholarship" on the memo line. If you wish to combine your membership contribution with a scholarship donation, please make a note somewhere on the form.
